This center opened in 1975 in the renovated First Baptist Church and has added two adjoining buildings. The multi-arts complex offers 7 art galleries, 3 performance areas, classrooms, studios, exhibits, offices space for small arts organizations and a gift shop.
Adults and children can take classes in clay, fiber arts, drawing, printmaking an theater. The year round perfomring season showcases small musical and comedy touring groups such as Emmylou Harris and the Smothers Brothers.
