Bellsouth BellSouth Corporation is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and is an international communications holding company. The BellSouth companies operate throughout the United States and in a number of countries in Europe, Latin America and Asia/Pacific. With $34 billion in assets, over 20 million access lines, 2.5 million cellular customers worldwide and 92,000 employees, BellSouth is the largest of the seven holding companies formed at divestiture.
